If you are a guy and you play golf, then what are you waiting for? You need to join the Men’s Golf Association [MGA]. The MGA is organized for the purpose of enhancing your golf experience. It’s about having fun and meeting other guys that share your enthusiasm for golf. To that end the MGA sponsors a number of tournaments throughout the golf season. These tournaments are for all golfers. Life-long golfers as well as those that are just discovering the challenges of the game. Handicaps are established to level out the playing field. Awards are typically given in flights so that all levels of play have a chance for success. The MGA board and our golf pro, Aaron, will be glad to help you take the mystery out of establishing a handicap and explaining the formats and terms of play of the tournaments. Expand your circle of friends and join the over 115 members of the MGA. Come learn about the Scott B. Anthony Scholarship and other activities MGA provides. First year DWCC members’ annual dues is free and only $15.00 per year after that. Just let Aaron or one of the MGA board members know that you would like to join.

Saturday, January 23rd

  • 9:00am shotgun start
  • 18-hole scramble
  • Build your own team
  • Post-flighted — no handicap required
  • $20 entry fee — includes prizes
  • Registration closes on Wednesday, January 20th at 5:00pm

April 30
Ringer competition begins. This is a season long competition based on your best hole scores until October.

May 1
MGA Opening Tournament. Format to be announced at a later date. It will be fun!

May 24
Match Play begins. Two high handicap friends won 5 matches in a row to win this one.

June 28
Shoot Out begins. Turn in your best 18 hole round net score as you play this summer to be one of 18 in the Shootout.

July 16-17
Member-Member. You and a friend take on the field over two days of competition.

September 26
Shoot Out. 18 guys teeing off one after another until only one is left is an amazing experience.

October 30
Tommy Wine Championship. End the season with this memorial tournament.
