The winter weather has had some negative impact in the past month. With many of the chilly night temperatures below freezing, the tennis courts at times looked like artic skating rinks. The seemingly constant storms and freezing temperatures severely restricted the amount of pickleball play possible, despite the best efforts of our racquet sports professional staff.

In order to not have withdrawal, many pickleball players have been traveling to Pine Island to take advantage of their indoor courts and get in a few days play.

As each day goes by and we get closer to spring, everyone is looking forward to watching the new pickleball courts take shape. Thanks to all the members who have pledged monetary support for the courts your support was invaluable.
